Tali Galaw is a string puppet production, established in 1995, the first and only Filipino marionette group conducting regular performances to promote and professionalize the art of marionette puppetry in the country. It’s plays promote Philippine history, folktale, and environmental protection, good moral and cultural values. A winner of the television program Magandang Tanghali bayan of ABS-CBN Channel 2 portion entitled: “Ipakita mo Papet mo” competition held last April 2000.
Tali Galaw marionette show was the official delegate of the Philippines to the 1st ASEAN Puppetry Festival held in Jakarta, Indonesia last December 2006. A participant to the 1st International Marionette Festival in Hanoi, Vietnam last February 2008. A delegate of Yun Lin International Festival Taiwan and a participant to the 1st Philippine Puppetry Festival held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, the predecessor of Samahan ng mga Papetir ng Pilipinas.
